Founded in 1879, the Independent Schools Association is one of the oldest of the independent schools’ organisations. Since 2014, they have been a registered charity and are proud to promote their charitable objectives. ISA provides professional support to over 360 member Headteachers. As a member The Cedars School benefits from high quality training opportunities and access to a wide range of membership services, while pupils can enjoy an extensive programme of local and national Sporting, Arts and Cultural events.
The Cedars School received an excellent first Ofsted Inspection Report in March 2014.
The Cedars received an excellent first Ofsted Inspection Report in 2014 when the school was just six months old, in which the report states:
