Co-Curricular

While the classroom remains key to Cedars life, we understand the importance co-curricular activities have in creating a well-rounded education.

Through Sport and Music, along with a comprehensive range of other extra-curricular clubs we create an essential part to the all-round education for our students here at The Cedars. We actively encourage all boys to play a full part in the wider life of the school.

Sport plays an important role at The Cedars and we have the advantage of spacious new sports grounds adjacent to the school. The school participates in rugby, football and cricket as the main team sports with a full fixtures list in each. Music is also a key driving factor at our school where pupils are actively involved in the school productions, musical and choral performances. Instrumental tuition is an additional feature for our Music Department, which is provided by staff and peripatetic teachers. Participation in the Duke of Edinburgh Award has become increasingly popular in recent years along with charitable fundraising and other ways of serving the community.

There is also an ever widening range of extra-curricular clubs and societies to suit all tastes and interests.
